Services at Holy Trinity are relaxed. We welcome people just as they are – there’s no dress code! We use services (called the Liturgy) and prayers from A New Zealand Prayer Book | He Karakia Mihinare o Aotearoa.
You can find our latest service, including Youtube music videos, here
You can find copies of our past liturgies published here.
Sunday Worship Service
Our main weekly service is on Sundays, starting at 10.00am and which runs till about 11.15am.
People usually start to arrive from around 9.45am all the way up to the start of the service at 10.00am. Don’t worry if you’re late – just come on in and find an available seat – seats are not allocated, sit wherever you are comfortable.
When you arrive one of us will greet you, give you a weekly newsletter, tell you where the toilets are, and help you find somewhere to sit. The newsletter includes information about the bible readings and prayers for the day, people and things to pray about, and information about what’s happening in the church over the coming week.
Sunday School
The people who worship at Holy Trinity span all age groups, including families with kids. We offer a dedicated Sunday School in the church building during the main Sunday Worship Service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Our Sunday School teachers use the same readings the grown-ups use to plan their lessons and activities. Don’t let the word ‘school’ put your kids off – it’s loads of fun!
Wednesday Worship
Each Wednesday, at 11.30am in the church building, a small group of people gather to worship together and share Holy Communion. It’s a relaxed service gathered around a small altar/table. The service lasts around 15 minutes and is followed by a light shared lunch.
